Autoglym Polar Kit

Three products, three different foam thicknesses and three unique functions that get your car showroom-ready. These products are specially developed for use with Autoglym's Polar Blaster and your pressure washer, making it quick and efficient to cover your car in foam. On top of that, Polar Seal delivers a long-lasting shine.

Autoglym Polar Blast 2.5 litres - Snow Foam Pre-Wash

Autoglym Polar Blast can make it look as though you are covering your car in a blanket of snow. But beneath the surface, this thick, clinging foam works to loosen dirt and heavy contamination – entirely without damaging the paintwork or requiring physical contact. Perfect preparation for the subsequent Autoglym Polar Wash.

Concentrated Polar power

Although you can mix it stronger, Autoglym recommends a dilution of 1 part Polar Blast to 5 parts water. That produces a foam that works wonders in just three minutes – so one bottle goes a long way.

Powerful foaming

Get your Polar Blaster ready. For the best foam level, we recommend using our foam lance – the Autoglym Polar Blaster – together with a pressure washer to apply Polar Blast. That ensures a denser layer of foam and better cleaning with maximum adhesion.

pH-neutral formula

This gentle pre-wash can be used on all of the car's surfaces. It does not strip previously applied wax or sealant, saving you time and money. You get an impressive foam experience and an easier car wash – from the very first use.

How to use

1. Make sure the car's bodywork and wheels are cool and not in direct sunlight.
2. Polar Blast can be diluted to the desired foam thickness. Start with 100 ml of product to 500 ml of water in the foam bottle. Adjust the foam gun settings to increase or reduce the amount of foam.
3. Spray Polar Blast onto the car, starting from the bottom and working upwards, covering all exterior surfaces – including windows and wheels.
4. Leave Polar Blast to work for up to 10 minutes to loosen dirt, but do not let it dry.
5. Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up.

Tip: Follow up with Polar Wash for a deeper clean and finish with Polar Seal for a protective, water-repellent coating.

Autoglym Polar Wash 2.5 litres - Shampoo for Foam Lance

You have finished the pre-wash – now it is time for the next stage. Autoglym's Polar Wash, with its powerful foaming action, continues where Autoglym Polar Blast left off – breaking down traffic film as you work the foam in. This shampoo makes it quick and easy to remove dirt, so you can move swiftly on to the final stage – Polar Seal.

50:50 concentrate

To cover an average-sized car, mix 250 ml of Polar Wash with 250 ml of water. That provides plenty of foam for a thorough wash. Get your Polar Blaster ready, mix your solution and pull the trigger.

Versatile and effective

This shampoo is safe to use on all of the car's surfaces and effectively removes dirt without damaging previously applied layers of wax or sealant. That saves you time, so you can spend more time enjoying your car – on a drive, for example.

Gentle cleaning

Autoglym Polar Wash produces an extra-thick layer of foam, giving you plenty of time to work your way around the car before rinsing. Use a damp wash mitt to wash the surfaces.

How to use

1. Make sure the car's bodywork and wheels are cool and not in direct sunlight.
2. Start with a pre-wash using Autoglym Polar Blast to loosen dirt. If you skip this stage, rinse the car thoroughly with water first to remove coarse contamination.
3. Polar Wash can be diluted at different ratios depending on how dense you want the foam. Never use a mixture stronger than 50:50. Adjust the foam gun settings for more or less foam. 250 ml of ready-mixed solution is normally enough for an average car.
4. Spray Polar Wash onto the car, starting from the bottom and working upwards, covering all exterior surfaces – including windows and wheels.
5. The foam loosens dirt from all surfaces. For the most thorough result, we recommend working the foam with a sponge or wash mitt.
6. Rinse thoroughly from the bottom up, then dry the car.

Note: Polar Wash is not suitable for convertibles with fabric roofs.

Tip: Follow up with Polar Seal for a protective, water-repellent coating.

Autoglym Polar Seal 1 litre - Wax Coating

The third and final stage of Autoglym's three-stage Polar process – Polar Seal. A lightly foaming sealant that quickly repels water and dirt, protects the paintwork and makes it shine like new. All to give your car's exterior the best possible finish that lasts.

Quick application

No polishing required. Simply mix 40 ml of Polar Seal with 200 ml of water, spray it onto your clean, wet car using a foam lance, and rinse off immediately with a pressure washer. Then dry the car with a drying towel.

Water-repellent sealant

This durable, super-hydrophobic sealant forms a 'shield' on the car's surface. As well as repelling water and dirt, Polar Seal reduces drying time and protects the paintwork, making future washes easier.

High-gloss finish

Polar Seal delivers a high-gloss finish with minimal effort. You get both protection and a beautiful shine, while the durable coating makes maintenance quicker and easier than ever.

How to use

1. Make sure the car's bodywork and wheels are cool and not in direct sunlight.
2. Start with a pre-wash such as Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, then continue with Polar Wash to remove any remaining dirt from the car's paintwork.
3. Use only a small amount of Polar Seal. Pour no more than 40 ml (four capfuls) into your foam bottle and add at least 200 ml of water. This mixture is enough to cover the whole car. Using more than 40 ml may impair the result.
4. Spray Polar Seal onto the clean, wet car, covering all exterior surfaces – but avoid spraying directly onto the windscreen.
5. Rinse thoroughly and dry the car to reveal a high-gloss finish with a hydrophobic coating. Dry the car with a cloth – do not let it air dry, as this can leave limescale spots.
6. Use Autoglym Fast Glass to clean the windscreen and wiper blades to avoid smearing.

Note:

• We recommend using Polar Seal no more than once a month.
• Not suitable for fabric convertible roofs or motorcycles.
• Do not store the diluted mixture. Rinse both the foam bottle and the high-pressure nozzle after use.

Autoglym Polar Blaster Foam Lance

The Polar Blaster is the perfect companion to the rest of Autoglym's Polar range. It produces a thick, clinging foam with Polar Blast, an optimised foam thickness for an effective deep clean with Polar Wash, and the perfect consistency for quick application of Polar Seal. Autoglym's Polar Blaster transforms your pressure washer into the ultimate car washing tool.

Wide-neck bottle

Autoglym has thought of everything to make things easy for you – right down to the small details. For instance, the bottle's wide opening is designed so you can easily pour in the correct amount of diluted product without spilling a drop.

Adjustable spray pattern

To ensure full coverage and the correct dwell time, the Polar Blaster can be adjusted quickly. Simply start your pressure washer and turn the nozzle guard anticlockwise until the spray pattern is as you want it.

Excellent foaming capabilities

The Polar Blaster delivers the perfect foam thickness – whether you are pre-washing, washing or sealing. To ensure the best foam quality every time, simply turn the mixing dial on top clockwise until you achieve the desired amount of foam.

How to use:

Assembling the Polar Blaster:

1. Attach the clear tube to the brass nozzle on the underside of the foam gun head.
2. Attach the black end of the connector to the handle of your pressure washer.
3. Pull back the spring-loaded brass coupling on the connector and connect it to the silver nozzle on the foam gun head.

Using the Polar Blaster:

1. Dilute the product according to the recommendations on the side of the Polar bottle.
2. Screw the foam gun head onto the Polar bottle and connect the Polar Blaster to your pressure washer.
3. Point the nozzle at the ground and pull the trigger to let the Polar product run through the system.
4. Turn the dial to adjust the foam level, and turn the nozzle to change the spray pattern.
5. Once the foam comes out at the desired consistency, begin applying the product to the car according to the instructions for each Polar product.
6. Rinse the bottle with clean water after using each product.
7. Also rinse the Polar Blaster through with clean water once you have finished applying all the products.
