Boult DP05 – EV charger with 11 kW, display and app

The Boult DP05 is a compact wallbox for the home, the holiday house or the company car park. It charges at up to 11 kW on 3 phases, enough to fill most electric cars and plug-in hybrids overnight. The front has a 4.3" colour display showing current, time and energy while charging, and three green lights at the top show the status from a distance.

Control charging from your phone – no subscription

The DP05 connects to your WiFi or to your phone via Bluetooth. In the free WeGoodCharger app you can adjust the charging power, schedule charging for a set time, for example when electricity is cheapest, and view the history of previous sessions. The app requires no subscription. You can also switch on "Plug and Charge", so charging starts by itself when the connector is plugged into the car.

RFID cards for access control

Two RFID cards are included. Hold the card against the reader on the front to start or stop charging. Only people with a card can use the charger – handy in a shared carport, a terraced house or at the workplace.

Type 2 socket – use your own charging cable

The DP05 has a Type 2 socket with a cover instead of a tethered cable. Plug in your own Type 2 charging cable and choose the length that suits your driveway. If you need a cable, you will find one among our charging cables for electric cars.

For indoor and outdoor use all year round

The housing is rated IP65 against dust and water jets and works from -30 °C to +55 °C, so the charger can be mounted outdoors. It is flame-retardant to UL94 V0 and has built-in protection against overload, over- and undervoltage, short circuit and overheating.

Installation

The charger is intended for fixed installation and must be connected by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations. The warranty requires documentation of professional installation and proof of purchase. The DP05 has a built-in Type A RCD with DC 6 mA detection; your electrician will determine on that basis which residual-current protection the installation needs.
