Electronic parking disc with solar cells

Electronic parking disc with solar cells

Make parking easier with the Avant electronic parking disc with solar cells. The parking disc automatically registers when the car comes to a stop and sets the parking time according to the applicable rules, so you no longer have to remember it yourself.

The integrated solar panel helps extend the battery's life, while the large, clear LCD display makes it easy to read the time from outside. The parking disc is equipped with a backup battery, so it continues to work reliably even when sunlight is limited.

On first start-up, the time and date are easily set, and the unit switches automatically between summer and winter time. The parking time can also be adjusted manually if desired.

The elegant, compact design fits discreetly in most cars and is quickly mounted on the windscreen with the included adhesive pads.

• Automatic parking detection via vibration and geomagnetic sensor
• Solar-powered for longer battery life
• Large, easy-to-read LCD display
• Adjustable rounding of the parking time (0, 15 or 30 min.)
• Automatic switching between summer and winter time
• Option for manual time setting
• Backup battery ensures stable operation
• Easy mounting on the windscreen
• Stylish, compact design

Adjustable rounding of the parking time

The parking disc lets you choose between 0, 15 or 30 minutes' rounding of the parking time. This means you can decide for yourself whether the arrival time should be shown precisely or rounded up to the nearest quarter or half hour. This function makes it possible to adapt the parking disc to the local rules wherever you park.

Mounting the electronic parking disc

To ensure optimal adhesion, it is recommended that the windscreen is cleaned thoroughly before mounting.

1. Clean the mounting area

• Choose a position in the lower right-hand corner of the windscreen (seen from inside the car) where the parking disc is easily visible from outside.
• Clean the area thoroughly with glass cleaner or isopropyl alcohol to remove dust, grease, wax and other impurities.
• Wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth so the surface is completely dry and clean.

2. Prepare the parking disc

• Make sure the date and time are set correctly before mounting.
• Check that the battery is fitted correctly and that the display works as expected.

3. Mount the parking disc

• Remove the protective film from the included adhesive pads.
• Place the parking disc on the cleaned window and press it firmly against the glass for 20-30 seconds to ensure optimal adhesion.

4. Check the position

• Check from outside the car that the display is clearly visible through the windscreen.
• Preferably allow the adhesive pads to cure for a few hours before the car is exposed to large temperature fluctuations or heavy cleaning around the mounting area.

Important when mounting

For the best adhesion, mounting should be carried out at a window temperature of at least 15°C. If the car has been standing outside in frost or very cold weather, it is recommended to warm up the cabin so the window reaches room temperature before the parking disc is mounted. Adhesive pads generally find it harder to achieve full strength on cold surfaces, which can affect durability.
